Victorious Christian Life

Getting Free

Many people have struggles in life, not knowing that by identifying the roots and by using the correct ‘key’, the Lord Jesus sets us free. Only when our ‘prison’ door is open can we walk in true freedom.

Some of the forgotten factors in our lives might be:

  • NEGATIVE WORDS spoken over us by other people or by ourselves;
  • CONDEMNING JUDGEMENTS we have made towards other people;
  • UNGODLY TIES that bind us to other people or things;
  • INHERITANCE issues from our ancestors.

Freedom from negative words

God created light when He said: Let there be light (Genesis 1:3).  God made everything by His word – and we are made in His image. Our words have the power of life and death, therefore we need to be careful about what we think and say. It may be that negative words we have spoken over ourselves or that others have spoken over us are acting like a curse over our lives.

If you think this is a possibility, read the ‘Freedom from Negative Words’ section in the Victorious Christian Life work-book then respond in prayer: then experience the joy of Jesus setting you free.

Rescue from condemning judgements

In the way that you judge, you will be judged” (Matthew 7:1-2) is a ‘rule’ that applies to our lives whether we realise it or not. When we notice a pattern occurring in our lives of something not going well for us, we may have previously judged someone for doing that very same thing ourselves. We can condemn ourselves to do exactly the same thing we have judged others for doing! (Romans 2:1)
Read the ‘Release from condemning judgements’ section in the Victorious Christian Life work-book then respond in prayer.  You will experience Jesus rescuing you from this pattern in your life.

Release from ungodly ties

Spiritual ties are formed in all our relationships with other people and often with the things that have been important to us. These ties can be Godly or ungodly. If we feel that something in our life is not right, for no obvious reason, or if we are haunted by recurring memories, we may be bound up by unseen, ungodly ties.

In the ‘Release from ungodly ties’ section of the Victorious Christian Life work-book, there is a detailed description of how to discern whether these ties have formed in our lives and how to pray specifically, asking Jesus to release us from them. When these ungodly ties are ‘cut’ we will feel an immediate release.

"The Lord is good, He has cut me free from the ropes of the ungodlyPsalm 129:4

Recovery of divine inheritance

We all inherit things from our parents but sometimes sin damages the inheritance that God intended us to receive from them. In the Victorious Christian Life work-book there is a detailed description of how to discern whether our inheritance has been damaged and how to pray specifically, asking Jesus to restore our divine inheritance.
